Wayfinding Reality Check
For about two years now, I've been driving back and forth between Pittsburgh and Dixon whenever I want to visit my family. It's a
12-hour drive, but it's become pretty routine. That's why I was surprised this time to find a five-mile stretch of I-70 completely under water just east of Columbus, Ohio. It made me realize how little I actually understand about what lies between Missouri and Pennsylvania. With the hastily erected detour signage, it was also a good opportunity for exploration.
